These are the terms of the Shaadi Planning text message program, which includes the Photo Groups texts. They are part of our Terms of Service.

The Program

Program name: Shaadi Planning and Photo Groups wedding texts. What it sends: messages about one wedding, sent for the couple: your photo group and when it is up, the day-of reminder, and messages the couple writes about the wedding (such as a schedule change). We never send marketing texts. Where: mobile numbers in the United States and Canada only; guests elsewhere get these messages by email.

How You Join

A guest joins when they add their mobile number on a wedding's Photo Groups page and tick the box to agree, or when the couple adds the number after the guest agreed to get texts about the wedding. The couple confirms this before every send, and we record each agreement with the time. Joining is for that wedding only. Consent to texts is never a condition of a purchase.

How Often

Message frequency varies by wedding, usually 1 to 4 texts per guest, mostly on the wedding day.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. We do not charge guests for texts.

Stop and Help

Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us to your number, for every wedding. Your carrier or we may send one text confirming it; after that, no more. Reply START to allow them again. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@shaadiplanning.app.

Carriers

Carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Your Number

We use your number only to send that wedding's texts, through our messaging provider, Telnyx. We never sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text agreements with anyone for marketing. Guest phone numbers are deleted from Photo Groups 2 days after the photo day; the list of numbers that replied STOP is kept so we never text them again. See the Privacy Policy.

For Couples

Text only guests who agreed to get texts about your wedding, only about your wedding. Do not use texts for marketing, fundraising or anything unrelated to the wedding. We may stop texts from a wedding that breaks these rules, without a refund.

Compliance

The program follows the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and the carriers' 10DLC rules registered with The Campaign Registry.
